Robinho: Milan must attack against Barcelona

The Brazil international is eagerly anticipating the Champions League match at Camp Nou and has urged his teammates to play their own game in possession.
Robinho has stressed that AC Milan cannot afford to focus solely on defending in Tuesday's Champions League clash with Barcelona if the club is to reach the quarterfinals.

The Serie A giant beat the Catalans 2-0 in the first leg of the round-of-16 tie, but the Brazilian expects a difficult match when the sides meet again at Camp Nou.

"Barcelona have a great team, but anything can happen in football and beating Milan will not be easy for them," he told Cope. "They will make life difficult for us, and I expect a difficult match. We are ready for the task at hand, though.

"I don't think that we should only try to defend our lead. We have plenty of quality and must attack and defend well. We should play our own game in possession and try to score."

Milan was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Champions League by Barcelona last season, and will be determined to make amends on Tuesday.
