The 21-year-old came off the bench to head home Juan Mata's late corner against the tough opposition and continue his recent scoring spree, as the Blues move joint-top of Group E.
Victor Moses revealed his delight at heading home the last-gasp winner for Chelsea against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The Blues, who were beaten at the Donbass Arena two weeks ago, were pipped back by the Ukrainian champion twice before the summer signing rose to convert Juan Mata’s header with just seconds remaining.
Chelsea was outplayed for long periods by the visiting side, but now finds itself level with Donetsk on seven points at the top of Group E.
"We deserved to win the game today, particularly in the second half, we dominated the game," Moses told Sky Sports after the game. "I came on and only played about 10 minutes on the pitch but it was great to get a winning goal and I thought we deserved it.
"The three goals I've scored for the club have been headers. It's been great for me so far so I'm just delighted."
