Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery is relishing his return to the Stade Velodrome after the German side was paired with his former club, Olympique de Marseille, in Friday's Champions League quarterfinal draw.
The Frenchman spent two years with L'OM between 2005 and 2007, and will play at his old stadium on March 28 for the first time since his move to Bavaria.
"This is not easy. In Marseille there is a fantastic atmosphere. The people live for football. 60,000 spectators will be against us," he said according to Uefa.com. "But we are FC Bayern. We have high targets."
Bayern shelled out 25 million euros for Ribery in 2007. Since then, he has made 180 appearances for the Germans, scoring 66 goals and giving 90 assists.
