Andre Ayew believes that Wednesday night's Champions League clash between Olympique Marseille and Inter Milan will be a tough test for his side.
Ayew has recently returned from international duty with Ghana at the 2012 African Cup of Nations and now has his attention fully focused on the task ahead.
"Inter are a very big team. As they are not doing well in the league, they will rely heavily on the Champions League," he told RMC Sport. "They want to go as far as possible. They have many experienced players."
Along with their Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue exploits, Marseille is currently competing in four different competitions.
However Ayew believes his side can cope with its demanding fixture schedule and continue to fight for multiple honors.
"We are ambitious players. We want to go as far as possible in all competitions. Marseille has a large workforce," he added.
Marseille qualified in second position from Group F, just a single point behind Arsenal. Ayew hopes that a positive performance could now see them advance to the quarterfinal stage.
"Us, we must remain dynamic and have a lot of determination. It will be a very complicated game."
