Bafetimbi Gomis after 7-1 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb: 'This is one of the happiest times I've ever had with Olympique Lyonnais'

Olympique Lyonnais striker Bafetimbi Gomis is delighted with his side's 7-1 Champions League Group D win away to Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday.
Gomis netted four times to help his side leapfrog Ajax in the table and qualify for the last 16 of this year's Champions League at the expense of the Eredivisie giants, and Gomis was ecstatic with the result.
"It's one of the happiest times I've ever had with OL, and the first time I've ever scored four times in a match," Gomis was quoted as saying on UEFA.com.
Dinamo took the lead against Lyon through Mateo Kovacic in the 40th minute despite having Jerko Leko sent off just before the half hour mark, and Gomis believes the dismissal gave his team the impetus.
"Before the red card, they weren't afraid to attack. We lacked aggression up front. Unfortunately for them, the red card put us in a very favorable position, so we weren't afraid at halftime," Gomis said.
"We thought we had a chance, albeit a small one. We had prepared well and Tuesday night we watched Olympique de Marseille's comeback against Borussia Dortmund on TV."
Lyon resumes Ligue 1 action on Sunday when it takes on Lorient.
