Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is not yet looking ahead to a potential Champions League semi-final clash with Real Madrid despite comprehensively beating Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday evening.
The Spanish champions beat the Ukrainian visitors 5-1 at Camp Nou in the first leg of their quarter-final tie to put one foot into the semis.
Barca’s arch-rivals Madrid have also practically secured their place in the last four with a 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.
However Guardiola is not thinking about a potential date with the Blancos and told reporters after the match: "The result is what it is, but Shakhtar are led by an experienced coach and I am still afraid.
"We have to play in Donetsk first and then we will think about Real Madrid.”Follow Goal.com on to get the latest soccer news directly. Check out Goal.com's page; be part of the best soccer fan community in the world!
