Luis Fabiano: Sevilla Can Reach The Champions League Final
The goalscorer thinks his side can go all the way this term, though he believes there are just a couple of elements that could prevent his side lifting Europe's biggest prize.
Luis Fabiano believes that Sevilla have the experience and ability to cause a surprise this season by reaching the final of the Champions League.
The Brazilian striker sees no reason why the high-flying Andalucians cannot continue to impress against European opposition after booking their place in the knockout stages with two group matches left.
While pundits ignore Sevilla's chances and continue to predict the continent's powerhouses to be competing in the final, Fabiano is confident his team can compete.
"Regarding the final in Madrid, I believe nothing is impossible in football," he was quoted as saying by uefa.com.
"We have great players with lots of experience who are seasoned internationals and have the necessary guts – that's what you need.
"Then you need luck, but that's also something you have to believe in. We have a great team and can perform against anyone, but sometimes we lack that belief we can win.
"At the most important moments the confidence doesn't always show, but I am confident that, with belief, Sevilla can do great things."
