Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie is a happy man after helping his side claim their second 1-0 win against Maccabi Haifa on matchday 4 of the Champions League in Tel Aviv.

Legrottaglie combined with Giorgio Chiellini in the center of defense, to aid the Bianconeri keep a clean sheet for the night.

"It was a mission which we completed," the 33-year-old told the club's official website, Juventus.it.

"They were fighting hard and managed to surprise us at the start of the match.

"However, there is  much more room for improvement.

"We work together as a department and can make the difference because if we manage to concede goals at one point or another, we are able to generally score.

"We have the champions, but we must be more careful, and then we can achieve great things.

"In the Champions League, we are conceding very few goals and this is important because it will help us go through to the next round, which is imperative," the Italian international summed up.

Juventus will need to turn their attention to Atalanta this weekend, as the Italian giants are seven points adrift from leaders Inter.
