When Juventus and Zenit kick off in St. Petersburg on Tuesday evening, the Champions League Group Stage takes another massive step towards resolution.

So too does Goal.com's Fantasy Game, in which you must select the hottest Champions League players to win points for fantastic prizes.

But it's not just a case of selecting eleven big names. After all, some unsung players can offer a boost, and we'll thus look at a good mixture of talent for your team.

Goalkeepers

Stanislav Bohush (Dynamo Kyiv): With 13 points to his name so far, this 'keeper, costing just 7.10 M, has been a surprise influence on the game so far. His side held Arsenal to a 0-0 draw in Ukraine; at the Emirates things will be tougher, but let's not forget that Arsenal are off form. A risky pick, yes, but he could keep a clean sheet if things go his way...

Artur Boruc (Celtic):
This 8.15 M goalie has only gained two points so far, but his side meet AaB in Aalborg having kept a clean sheet in the first game between the sides. With the Glaswegians playing for their European lives, Boruc is sure to see some action.

Michael Rensing (Bayern Muenchen): Bayern have the second best defensive record of all in this year's competition, having conceded just twice. At 13.10 M Rensing seems to be a decent option up against group whipping boys Steaua Bucharest, whom the Germans have already beaten 1-0.

Defenders

Jose Bosingwa (Chelsea): Chelsea will be going all-out for the win in Bordeaux so as to take the pressure off for matchday 6. Bosingwa, with 13 points so far, is thus likely to be an influence going forward as well as at the back. At 15.85 M he's a pricey option, but a good one.

Mariano Pernia (Atletico Madrid): Pernia's managed six points in two appearances, including an assist. It seems strange to recommend an Atleti defender, given their occasional self-destruction, but in fact the red-and-white side have conceded just three goals in four games. At home to PSV they may yet keep that record going. Mariano will set you back 12.95 M.

Ilsinho (Shakhtar Donetsk): Having already scored a goal in this year's tournament, Shakhtar ace Ilsinho is a cheap full-back option at just 7.10 M. The Ukrainians don't have the tightest of defences, but they are facing Basel, who are rock bottom of the group and have already been defeated by Shakhtar in Switzerland...

Midfielders

Lucho Gonzalez (Porto): At 9.45 M, this attack-minded midfielder has already managed a goal in this year's tournament - and it was against Fenerbahce. Istanbul isn't quite the fortress it was before, and there's every chance he can repeat the feat.

Sinisa Dobrasinovic (Anorthosis): This midfielder's already found the net in this year's tournament, too, and he costs just 5.55 M. His side can secure an historic qualification if results go their way, and as they're at home to Werder Bremen anything can happen. Also take a look at Giorgos Panagi for 4.90 M.

Steven Gerrard (Liverpool): Warning - Steven is for big spenders only! At 17.50 M he is one of the most expensive players in the game, but it's fair to say that he brings with him rewards. Having netted four tournament goals so far he has a total of 18 points, and as Liverpool are at home to a Marseille side he's already netted twice against it's hard to say that he won't be in with a chance of adding significantly to his tally.

Attackers

Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus): Another option for those with money to burn, Del Piero costs 15.95 M. However he's joint-top scorer in this year's tournament, and as such he's racked up 19 points. Juve have a tough tie away to Zenit, but it's the kind of game in which a set-piece could make the difference: guess who takes them?

Emmanuel Adebayor (Arsenal):
Well, well! We might have recommended a Dynamo Kyiv 'keeper, but here's an Arsenal striker: what's going on? It simply comes down to your preference. Do you think that the Gunners can break down the Ukrainians? If so, 17.45 M signing Adebayor is likely to be among those vying to find the net. He has 19 points so far. (Remember that Theo Walcott is injured, so do not select him.)

Karim Benzema (Lyon): Lyon have already managed 10 goals and are one of the precious few sides to have scored in every one of their matches so far. Karim Benzema, having hit four already, carries with him the hopes of his team. The 15.90 M striker will lead the line at Fiorentina.

Yssouf Kone (CFR Cluj): And finally, a risky bargain pick at 6.60 M. CFR meet a Roma side that may have got back on track at the weekend, but still aren't quite their old selves. The Romanians beat them in the Italian capital, after all: what odds Kone managing a goal back home?
