U.S. Soccer announced Thursday that Kansas City, Chicago, Washington and Philadelphia be host venues for the CONCACAF Women's Championship from Oct. 15-26. The tournament will determine the region's representatives at the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada.
PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, will host the semifinals Oct. 24, with the two winners earning World Cup berths. The third-place match will be played two days later at the same venue, with the winner booking a trip to Canada and the loser dropping into a playoff against a South American nation. The final between the two already-qualified teams will be played Oct. 26 as well.
