The 31-year-old recently scored his first goal of the 2013 MLS season, netting in La Naranja's 3-2 loss to FC Dallas on Sunday. Last season he picked up 12 assists and scored a career-high eight goals.
Davis, a left winger, made his U.S. national team debut in 2005 and has collected six caps since. He was a part of Jurgen Klinsmann's January training camp and made the roster for the USA's last World Cup qualifier, a 2-1 loss at Honduras.
The U.S. will face Costa Rica at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Friday, March 22 before facing Mexico at Estadio Azteca four days later.
