Alex Morgan scored two goals to give the team a 2-0 victory against Germany to clinch the title in a match in Faro, Portugal.
Morgan opened the scoring with a left-footed strike in the 13th minute. Twenty minutes later, Morgan scored the game's second goal after a mix-up in defense for the world's second ranked team.
With the win, the USA improved its unbeaten streak to 29 games. The team's last loss came in last year's Algarve Cup against Japan.
Up next for the U.S. is two away friendlies: At Germany in Offenbech on April 5, and against the Netherlands in The Hague on April 9.
