thumbnail Hello,

Bob Bradley threw caution to the wind with his lineup on Saturday night, bringing Landon Donovan and Freddy Adu back into the starting side.

Bob Bradley made some bold decisions with his starting team on Saturday night in the Gold Cup final against Mexico, replacing Sacha Kljestan and Juan Agudelo in the starting lineup with Freddy Adu and Landon Donovan.

The move also shifted Clint Dempsey up to the forward position where he closed out the semifinal against Panama and scored that game's only goal.

Alejandro Bedoya kept his starting spot and the USA relied the same back line that has posted three straight clean sheets, along with the central pairing of Jermaine Jones and Michael Bradley in the midfield.

U.S. lineup:

Tim Howard

Steve Cherundolo - Carlos Bocanegra - Clarence Goodson - Eric Lichaj

Jermaine Jones - Michael Bradley

Alejandro Bedoya - Freddy Adu - Landon Donovan

Clint Dempsey
