USA midfielder DaMarcus Beasley said via twitter that he was headed to Europe on Saturday with an inference that he would be signing a new contract.

"Afternoon my friends.. Leavin for europe tomorrow night! Can't wait to be back. When I sign on the dotted line, u ALL will be first to know!" he posted Friday evening.

Beasley had already posted that he would need to start learning a new language, lending some weight to the rumors that the 28-year-old would be joining USA teammate Steve Cherundolo at Hannover 96 in Germany.

Beasley also has reportedly drawn interest from France and Spain after leaving Rangers on a free transfer.
