Mexico hasn't found too much success against the United States in Bob Bradley's tenure as coach of the U.S. national team, but El Tri captain Rafael Marquez won't hold that against him.

The latest New York Red Bull Designated Player Thursday said that Bradley should keep his job in the Stars and Stripes hotseat.

“I think Bradley is doing a good job with the team,” Marquez told MLSsoccer.com. “I also think that long-term coaching [contracts] help a team.”

Bradley's contract will expire at the end of the year and he is in negotiations with the U.S. Soccer Federation to renew it. However, the coach also admitted earlier this week that he would welcome an approach from Aston Villa and has never hid his desire to manage in Europe.
