Nickname: Chingy

Club Supported: "To tell you the truth, I didn't watch much soccer when I was in Hawaii. I watched the National Team once in a while when they were on TV, but I didn't know much about European soccer until I went to college. My college coach followed Man U so I started watching with him."

Strengths: How he reads the game, his work rate, holding the ball up then making runs in the box

Weaknesses: Running with the ball

Soccer Heroes: "Not really. [Laughs] When I started watching the U.S. Brian McBride was one of the players I like the most."

Career Highlight: Scoring in the 2006 MLS Cup.

Views on MLS: "I think the MLS is getting better. It's gonna take some time for us to break into the four major sports, but I think it's on the rise. It's the No. 1 youth sport and I think that we're doing the right thing. We're creating a buzz and I think the World Cup's going to help this year. Once all the teams control their own new stadiums and have revenue flows, you're going to see the league really take off."

Biggest Influence: His mom

Tunes on the iPod: All kinds of stuff: The Who, Linkin Park, The Offspring.

Dream Car: "I'm not really a car guy. I just got a BMW and I really enjoy it so I think that's enough for me."

Favorite Movies: "Braveheart," "Remember the Titans"

Something We Don't Know About You: "I like to do a lot of crosswords."

In Five Years: "I'd say on a beach someplace, living the easy life. [Laughs] I don't know. Hopefully living near a beach, surfing every day."
