Only seven months away, the 2010 FIFA World Cup is drawing closer by the minute. With many preparations still in the works, now is a good time to work on actually getting there.

U.S. Soccer has shed some light on the situation, confirming some ticket plans that will be offered for the prestigious tournament.

Firstly, priority status will be given to anyone who is a member of U.S. Soccer's Supports Club. Members must register by December 3rd.

From there, you register through FIFA and are picked for tickets based on equal chance, rather than first come, first served.

Once all requests have been made, FIFA will determine who successfully has aquired tickets. This process won't happen until after the world's governing soccer body closes registration in mid-January.
