USMNT To Take On Slovakia Four Days Before Denmark

U.S. Soccer has scheduled a second World Cup test for next month.

Bob Bradley - USA
In a move that U.S. Soccer has been alluding too since they were assured qualification to next summer's World Cup, the team has officially announced a second friendly to be played against Slovakia in November.

The team will travel to Bratislava for their match on November 14th against the Slovakian national team, who are also South Africa-bound.

“We are very pleased about the opportunity to face another quality opponent on European soil,” said U.S. head coach Bob Bradley in a press release. “Slovakia finished on top of a very competitive group in UEFA qualifying, and has demonstrated their capabilities throughout the process.  With so few available dates for international matches between now and the World Cup, having the chance to play two fellow World Cup finalists is a big plus in terms of our preparations.”

The 2010 World Cup marks the first time the nation has reached the tournament since becoming an international football nation in 1993. It will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.
