Davies Well Wishers Set To Fill RFK Stadium
Following the news of Davies’ car accident, USMNT supporters are set to take action at tonight’s game.
When the news broke yesterday that U.S. National Team striker Charlie Davies was in a serious car accident, the reaction was quite shocking. One of the best players for Bob Bradley this summer, the loss of Davies could make quite a dent in the coach’s plans going forward.
Since more details have been released and the extent of Davies’ injuries have become known, the feeling has changed from shock to support for the 23-year-old hit-man.
People attending tonight’s game at RFK Stadium are encouraged to follow the link below and print off a sheet of paper with the #9 on it to be raised during the 9th minute of the match. There will also be mass cheering at that point in Davies’ honor.
