With the final two CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers around the bend, United States head coach Bob Bradley has called in 22 players to the U.S. roster.

First, the U.S. will travel to San Pedro Sula to play Honduras on Oct. 10. Four days later it's back to Washington, D.C. to play Costa Rica.

The USA sits first in the Hexagonal with 16 points, with the top four teams only separated by four points. The top three from CONCACAF qualify automatically for the 2010 World Cup, and the fourth placed team enters a playoff round with a representative from CONMEBOL.

“These are hugely important games for us as we have the opportunity to clinch a spot in the 2010 FIFA World Cup,” said Bradley. If his side earns four points in the next two games, it is assured of a spot in South Africa. “Each of these games presents an opportunity to advance, and we face two very different and difficult challenges against Honduras and Costa Rica. We have been preparing this group for the last three years to be ready for these situations, and we are confident in our ability to get the results we need to achieve our goal of qualifying for South Africa.”
