On Sept. 5, the United States will resume World Cup qualifying. The Americans will play El Salvador in Sandy, Utah's Riot Tinto Stadium.

Goal.com will be on location from Tuesday, Sept. 1 on, providing coverage of the national team as it gears up for the crucial qualifier.

Head coach Bob Bradley recently named his 24-man roster, and Landon Donovan is one of the bigger names on it.

“It’s a massive, massive game,” Donovan told reporters after the Honda SuperClasico. “Candidly, if we can’t beat El Salvador at home, we don’t deserve to go to the World Cup.”

Donovan revealed a glimpse of the game plan the U.S. will use to move up from third place in the CONCACAF standings.

“We have to push the game. It’s at altitude, so we have to wear them out,” the 27-year-old said. “The longer it goes zero-zero, the better it is for them. We’re going to push and push and push until we get the goal.”
