Parkhurst Rejoins U.S. Gold Cup Squad

U.S. head coach Bob Bradley has made some adjustments to his Gold Cup roster.

Michael Parkhurst, FC Nordsjaelland (NO MAIN)
Michael Parkhurst has rejoined his American teammates on the United States roster for the Gold Cup ahead of the semifinal tie against Honduras. The slight defender had left to join his club side, FC Nordsjaelland, for the start of the season in Denmark, but has returned Stateside.

It is expected that Parkhurst will help cover should Jimmy Conrad still feel symptoms of the concussion he suffered in the quarterfinal against Panama.

In further roster switches, Chicago Fire goalkeeper Jon Busch will join up with the team to replace Luis Robles, who joined club side FC Kaiserslauten to prepare for the Bundesliga season. Busch, the 2008 Major League Soccer goalkeeper of 2008, was part of the initial 23-man roster, but stayed with Chicago until needed.

These roster adjustments leave coach Bob Bradley's side 19 strong.
