thumbnail Hello,

A preliminary team for the USA has been announced as the United States looks to repeat its 2007 Gold Cup win. Tell Goal.com who should make the final roster.

A preliminary CONCACAF Gold Cup roster has been submitted by the U.S. national team, full of fringe players and youngsters. Stalwarts such as Tim Howard, Oguchi Onyewu, Carlos Bocanegra, Michael Bradley, and Landon Donovan are nowhere to be seen.

Instead, 12 players from Major League Soccer make the 29-man roster. In addition, young stars such as Brad Guzan, Freddy Adu, Jose Torres, Jozy Altidore, Charlie Davies, and Jeremiah White round out the team.

The roster must be cut down to 23 names before the Gold Cup begins on July 4. Which six players would you cut? Let Goal.com know by commenting below.
