Report: Jozy Altidore Called In For Next Week's Camp

It looks as though Jozy Altidore will miss some games in Spain as he is being called into camp with the U.S.

Jozy Altidore, who's been linked with a loan transfer to Levante from Xerez where he has yet to feature, is the subject of another report out of Spain.   

According to Diario de Jerez, United States Men's National Team coach Bob Bradley will call the young striker into camp ahead of the squad's matches against El Savador and Trinidad and Tobago, on March 28 and April 1, respectively. 

The paper reports (translated from Spanish) : "Jozy Altidore was called by Bob Bradley, U.S. National Team coach, for the U.S. matches played next week against El Salvador and Trinidad and Tobago in the Hexagonal Round of qualification for the 2010 World Cup." 

Despite being nine months shy of his 20th birthday, the former New York Red Bull product has become a fixture in American camps. In the U.S.'s last qualifying match against Mexico, Altidore came on in the 83rd minute and started the build-up that led to its second goal.  

The report also noted that Altidore has yet to feature for his new squad, Xerez.

Bradley has not yet announced which players will be in camp. contacted United States soccer officials about the report, but they declined to comment before the official roster was announced in "the next couple of days."
