thumbnail Hello,

El Tri announced their final two matches before the World Cup will be against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago and Portugal in Foxborough, Mass.

The Mexican national team's schedule ahead of this summer's World Cup is close to being finalized, with the federation confirming Friday that El Tri's final two matches before the big event will be against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Portugal.

Mexico faces Bosnia on June 3 at Soldier Field in Chicago and goes to Foxborough, Mass., to play Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal on June 6.

The squad will then travel to its World Cup base in Santos — close to Sao Paulo — in Brazil ahead of El Tri's opening game against Cameroon on June 13.

The Mexico team's schedule is now almost complete, with El Tri facing Nigeria on March 5, the United States on April 2, Turkey on May 28 (unconfirmed) and Ecuador on May 31, followed by the Bosnia and Portugal games.

The Mexican federation also presented the team's new away kit for the World Cup on Friday, featuring a red shirt, black shorts and red socks.

The red jersey marks a change from the black away shirt that Mexico had used at the previous World Cup and the white one used in 2006.
