Poll Results: Mexico Now CONCACAF Top Dogs

In a Goal.com poll, readers have proclaimed Mexico the best team in CONCACAF.

A majority of voters in Goal.com's poll assert that Mexico has regained its position as the best international team in CONCACAF. After a series of poor results against the United States, including a loss in the round of 16 in the 2002 World Cup, America had usurped the spot from Mexico.

However, the Mexican national team beat the U.S. on American soil for the first time in 10 years in a 5-0 drubbing in the Gold Cup final. That performance was enough to tip the scales for 60% of voters.

Just under a third still think the USA holds onto bragging rights in the region while less than 9% think Costa Rica is the best team.
