The American striker continues to push for a World Cup spot, making it five goals in his last three games.
Terrence Boyd isn't letting up in his late push for a ticket to Brazil.
The U.S. national team striker scored in the 34th minute of Rapid Vienna's 2-0 win over Wacker Innsbruck on Sunday, making it five goals in his past three matches. On the season, Boyd has 14 goals in 27 league appearances for Rapid, as well as five goals in Europa League play.
At 16-8-11, Rapid is locked into second place in the Austrian Bundesliga heading into the season finale next Sunday against Josko Ried.
U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann's 30-man preliminary roster for the World Cup is due the following day, with Boyd a strong candidate to make the initial list but questionable for the final 23-man squad.
