Kljestan stays red-hot with goal in Anderlecht win

The American midfielder has already tied his career high in Belgium with his fourth goal in just seven league games.
Sacha Kljestan just can't stop scoring goals at the moment.

The U.S. international, who was left off Jurgen Klinsmann's squad twice this month, scored in the 18th minute of Anderlecht's 5-0 league win over KV Mechelen. It was the midfielder's fourth goal in five games.

The 28-year-old was not on the USA roster for its games against Costa Rica and Mexico earlier in the month and even after injuries and suspensions forced Klinsmann to call up four new players, Kljestan was bypassed for Joe Corona, Brad Davis, Clarence Goodson and Jose Torres.

If he keeps up his current form, though, Kljestan will be hard to ignore. He is currently tied for third in goalscoring in the Jupiler League, and has already tied his career high for league goals in Belgium.
