Jozy Altidore's run of form for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar has showed no signs of slowing down.
Altidore maintained his hot start to the Eredivisie season, scoring another goal and coming through with a late game-tying assist to help carry his side to a 3-3 draw with RKC Waalwijk in Sunday's league match.
Altidore scored in the 25th minute, receiving the ball with his back to goal about 35 yards out, turning and weaving through three defenders before slotting a low shot from the top of the box inside the left post to level the score at 2-2.
With AZ trailing in the second half, Altidore had a would-be second goal waved off for being a step offside in the 77th minute, but he came through soon after with a clutch assist, squaring a header for Adam Maher, who finished inside the area in the 87th minute.
Altidore just missed a chance to win it at the start of stoppage time, taking down a ball off his chest and going to ground to try and put it on frame from close range, only to miss the post by inches.
The goal was Altidore's league-leading eighth in Eredivisie play and ninth in all competitions, and he is well on his way to surpassing his career-high tally of 19 goals in all competitions from a season ago.
