Jozy Altidore scores again as AZ falls late to PSV

The U.S. international's goal was a screamer, but it wasn't enough

Jozy Altidore can't stop scoring at the moment.

The American forward scored his fifth goal in five games in AZ's 3-2 loss at PSV, and it was a beauty.

In the 24th minute, Altidore collected the ball, and took advantage of PSV's defense dropping off him, before unleashing a 25-yard drive that flew into the far corner.

Altidore's goal was his 14th league goal of the season, and 18th overall. He was subbed out of the match in the 65th minute in favor of Charlison Benshop.

AZ would go on to score once more, but PSV's Jeremain Lens scored a brace, and with just seconds remaining, Tim Matavz scored a winner to make the final score 3-2 in favor of PSV.

With the loss, AZ stayed three points back of league leader Ajax, which plays Sunday against De Graafschap.
