Everton are reportedly closely monitoring Sporting Lisbon winger Yannick Djalo, hoping to land the midfielder during the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to talkSPORT.co.uk, the 24-year-old is wanted by David Moyes to help strengthen the Toffees' midfield in the run home to the end of the season.
The Merseyside club have been recently in contact with the Portuguese giants, hoping to finalize a deal for the €7 million-rated player.
Italian side Genoa and Bundesliga team Koeln are also keen to snap up the winger, and will be providing stiff competition during the transfer window.
It may be that Moyes has Djalo in mind as an option instead of American Landon Donovan, who is four years older.
