Continuing his strong return to the Borussia Monchengladbach first team, Michael Bradley helped lead his side to an exciting 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Hamburger SV.

Michael Bradley started his fourth game in a row after his return to the first 11 following a row with manager Michael Frontzeck.  Riding a terrible run of form with no wins in the last seven matches, the Foals started their away match with Hamburg with no energy, conceding after just 13 minutes of play through Polish-born German international Piotr Trochowski.

Coming alive towards the end of the first half, Die Fohlen drew level on 39 minutes with Bradley heavily involved in the buildup.  Roberto Colautti’s slipped through ball to Marco Reus was enough to even up the scoreline.

HSV went ahead two minutes after halftime from a curling Ze Roberto free kick, and should have had the chance to go two clear when Michael Bradley’s obvious foul on the Brazilian was waved off by the referee.  The call would prove to be vital as M’Gladbach leveled the match once again in the 76th minute from Dante’s header following a well-executed short corner.

Juan Arango then notched his second consecutive assist in the match, finding Rob Friend with a long cross to score the match winner eight minutes from time.
