American Zizzo Suffers Serious Knee Injury
The former UCLA star will be out of action for up to six months.
According to reports out of Germany, the 22-year-old Zizzo will be sidelined for up to six months following a knee injury suffered in training.
Zizzo, playing with his club side Hannover, twisted his knee awkwardly in training and tore both his cruciate and collateral ligaments.
Capped only once by the U.S. Men's National Team, Zizzo has been in Germany since 2007 when he signed with Hannover. Unable to break into the team's senior squad, Zizzo has been a fixture with their U-23 side.
A San Diego native, Zizzo attended UCLA for one season before turning pro and signing with Hannover.
