A red card and an injury absence highlighted the Americans in Mexico for Jornada 11.Primera Division
Jose Francisco Torres - Played 70 minutes in Pachuca's 2-1 win over America. Torres played a solid role in the middle of the field as Pachuca handled America, who scored their only goal on a free kick in the 90th minute.
Michael Orozco - Played 68 minutes in San Luis' 1-1 draw at Toluca. Orozco was sent off with San Luis ahead 1-0. Orozco stepped on Toluca's Hector Raul Mancilla and was shown red.
Edgar Castillo - Did not play in Tigres' 2-0 win over Cruz Azul due to injury. Castillo had played every minute of every game for Tigres this season but has an injury in his right leg that is not expected to keep him out of any more games when league resumes on Oct. 17.
Marco Antonio Vidal - Vidal did not play in Indios' 3-1 loss to Queretaro. After playing the first nine games of the season, Vidal has sat for two consecutive weeks.
Samuel Ochoa - Played final 12 minutes in Estudiantes' 2-1 loss to Atlas. Without the suspended Bruno Marioni, Estudiantes were down their top scorer and Ochoa entered the game with Estudiantes down a goal. Ochoa, though, failed to deliver the equalizer.
