Down South: Americans In Mexico, Jornada 9

Edgar Castillo and Michael Orozco notched starts this week for their respective Mexican clubs.

Osvaldo Martinez y Jose Francisco Torres- Monterrey vs Pachuca (Mexsport)
Edgar Castillo - Played 90 minutes in Tigres' 0-0 draw with Indios. Castillo has played every minute for Tigres this season.

Jose Francisco Torres
- Started and played 74 minutes in Pachuca's 3-1 loss to Monterrey. Torres also played in Pachuca's 2-0 win over Houston in a CONCACAF Champions League match earlier this week.

Michael Orozco - Played 90 minutes in San Luis' 4-2 loss at Cruz Azul. Orozco was part of a defense that allowed a season-high four goals. San Luis had allowed a total of four goals in eight games before the match.

Marco Antonio Vidal - Appeared as a late-game substitute in Indios 0-0 draw at Tigres. Vidal did not start the match, the first time in four weeks that he did not start a game, but he came on in the 89th minute and kept his streak of games played alive. The Dallas native has played in every game for Indios this season.

Samuel Ochoa - Dressed but did not play in Estudiantes' 2-0 loss to Morelia at home.

Sonny Guadarrama
- Guadarrama did not dress for Merida's 1-1 draw against Atlante Neza on Sunday, nor Merida's 1-0 win over Cruz Azul Hidalgo on Thursday.
