Michael Orozco, San Luis - Orozco played 90 minutes in San Luis' 0-0 draw at Atlas and helped lift los Gladiadores to their third consecutive draw and fourth straight match without a win.

Edgar Castillo, Tigres - Castillo followed up his goal against Santos with a solid 90-minute effort against America as Tigres tied 1-1 at home to las Aguilas. Castillo also is now eligible for selection for the United States national team after his FIFA paperwork cleared.

Marco Antonio Vidal, Indios - Vidal started and played 55 minutes in Indios 2-0 loss at Cruz Azul. Vidal committed several fouls and was, along with the rest of his teammates, largely ineffective against an undermanned Cruz Azul team.

Sammy Ochoa, Estudiantes - Dressed, but did not play in Estudiantes' 4-2 loss to Santos.

Jose Francisco Torres, Pachuca - Torres missed Pachuca's 4-0 win over Jaguares as he was one of two Tuzos who was called in for international duty.

Sonny Guadarrama, Merida - Guadarrama started and played 67 minutes in Merida's 3-1 loss to Albinegros of Orizaba.
