Cooper Opens His Account For 1860
The newly signed American opened his account, and the scoring for 1860 Munich in a 2-0 win over TuS Koblenz.
It didn't take Kenny Cooper long to get his momentum going for new club 1860 Munich.
Cooper netted his first goal for the German club in his debut, opening the scoring with a headed goal in the 17th minute before a strike from Benjamin Lauth just after the half hour mark sealed the 2-0 victory over TuS Koblenz.
Cooper is one of five new starters for new boss Ewald Lienen's side as they opened the new season with a win.
The American striker played 72 minutes in helping 1860 to a dominating win over a Koblenz club that had to fight relegation for most of last season.
Last year the Lions finished in 12th in the 2nd Bundesliga on 39 points, just three points above the bottom three.
