Oguchi Onyewu Sucessfully Completes AC Milan Medical
The powerful defender is now ready to join his team-mates in training.
AC Milan's latest signing, Oguchi Onyewu, has successfully completed his medical, according to MilanNews.
The centerback signed for the Rossoneri on a free-transfer after five-years with Belgian outfit Standard Liege and has passed his medical examination with flying colors.
He will now join up with his team-mates ahead of their pre-season tour of the United States, where they will play LA Galaxy, Club America, Chelsea, and city rivals Inter.
Onyewu has been the Rossoneri's only significant signing thus far in the summer of 2009 and just gave a simple "Thank you very much" to the Italian journalists present as he left the clinic.
The 27-year-old recently gained plenty of exposure at the Confederations Cup, as the USA made it to the final before losing 3-2 to Brazil in an exciting encounter in Johannesburg.
