Onyewu To Join Bradley At M’Gladbach?
Speculation over the defender's future has been rife for months, with the latest news linking him to the German outfit, Borussia Monchengladbach.

Reports out of Belgium suggest that U.S. International defender Oguchi Onyewu may be trying his luck in the Bundesliga next season, and could have an American pal on his side.
ExtraVoetbal claims that Onyewu will move to Borussia Monchengladbach if they are able to keep themselves in the first flight of German football, a move that would unite Onyewu with midfielder Michael Bradley, a fellow USMNT player.
Onyewu is out of contract at the end of the season, and has put off any renewal talks until the campaign is over, with many reports linking him with a move away from Belgium to a bigger league.
The 26-year-old has been courted by M’Gladbach of late and has been seen taking in their match against Bochum at Borussia Park on March 20th. According to the site, he’s also met with the technical director of M’Gladbach, Max Eberle recently to discuss the preliminary arrangements of a contract.
Onyewu’s future has been up in the air for months now, with reports linking him to teams all across Europe. France, Germany and Spain have been the most prevalent destinations for the talented American.
Since joining Standard Liege in 2004, Onyewu has made 174 appearances for the Belgian club, scoring 13 goals in the process. He’s also a stalwart in the U.S. Men’s National Team having appeared 40 times, netting on five occasions.
