Bayern Munich Add Donovan To Champions Roster
American Landon Donovan has been added to Bayern Munich's squad for Champions League play.
Landon Donovan has been added to the Champions League roster of his German club, Bayern Munich.
The Los Angeles Galaxy player is currently on loan to the Bundesliga club, but has expressed a wish to stay on with the club led by Jurgen Klinsmann.
Donovan scored a number of goals for the club in preseason action with the team, but has yet to find the net since the season resumed.
With German Cup play, league games and Champions League action on the upcoming slate of games, it is likely that Donovan will be given more opportunities to make an impact for Bayern.
