Jose Francisco Torres spoke to Goal.com following leading Pachuca to a penalty kick win over Atlas in the 2009 InterLiga. The Mexican-American, who suits up for the USA national squad, saw his side squander a 3-0 lead in the first half hour to draw 3-3.

In the shootout, Torres stepped up and slotted home, knowing that if he had missed, Atlas would have won.

"I had nerves," the midfielder admitted after the match. "My legs started getting bigger and the goal got smaller."

Eventually, Pachuca took the penalties 10-9 with Miguel Calero stopping four.

With the win, Pachuca qualify for the Copa Libertadores for the second time in their history.
