VIDEO: Charlie Davies on Club Future
Watch exclusive video of Charlie Davies talking about his club future and which league would suit his skills the best.
The USA national team is currently training in Carson, Calif. ahead of a friendly versus Sweden on January 24th.
Charlie Davies, employed by Swedish club Hammarby IF, is looking forward to facing a few club rivals on the international stage.
Goal.com caught up with the midfielder after practice to ask him about his club future, and which league he thought would fit him best.
"I think I could play in any league," the stocky striker said. "I think quickness and speed helps you in every league. Of course I’d love to play in specific leagues, like the English Premier League. The French league would fit me perfectly.
"I’m open to everything. It’s important that I continue making the right choices for my next club, which would be a club where I’m going to continue to grow and play consistently, which will help me as a player to make it to the next level."
