Report: Subotic Still Undecided

U.S. Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati has refuted reports out of Serbia that Neven Subotic has committed to play for that country.

The site Soccer by Ives first reported, and Sunil Gulati, U.S. Soccer Federation president, later confirmed to Goal.com, that defender Neven Subotic has still not made a final national team choice, despite reports from Serbia claiming the decision favored them.

Subotic has three options, as he claims citizenship from Bosnia, Serbia and the U.S.

Though he has spent most of his young life in Germany, that country is not a choice, as FIFA regulations prevented that possibility when the German federation inquired.

A representative for the Borussia Dortmund player claimed that the player would decide between national teams at the end of the Bundesliga season.
