Middlesbrough and Hamburger SV have been the teams that have shown the most interest, with Middlesbrough apparently out in front now with Bradley speaking out on his desire to one day play in the English Premier League.
"The Premier League is one of the best, if not the best league in the world, so it would be fantastic if I got the chance to play there," Bradley told SetantaSports.com. "To go and play in England is absolutely something that I would love to do. You never know when that chance might come, but it is something that I hope can happen.”
According to Goal.com sources in Holland, a move anywhere seems out of the question as the high price tag placed on Bradley by his club Heerenveen my scare suitors away, with the fact that he is an important first team player for the club being the secondary reason.
Middlesbrough have remained a persistent candidate, and the Riverside would be an ideal place for Bradley to start his dream of English football. With constant reports linking Middlesbrough’s best attacking player Stuart Downing away from the team, Bradley would definitely have the opportunity to impress with plenty of minutes on the pitch. Bradley made it clear this is the next challenge he wants to take on, whether it’s now or in the future.
"Whether it is this year, next year, or in five years, I want to play in the Premier League and test myself against some of the best players in the world.”
Before playing in Holland, Bradley played for the NY/NJ Metrostars, now the Red Bulls where he became the youngest MLS player ever to be sold when he joined Heerenveen for an undisclosed fee in 2006. Bradley has made 55 appearances since joining Heerenveen and has netted 17 goals.
