The native of Brossard, Quebec helped Eintracht Frankfurt beat Hamburger SV 3-2 at home with his first goal in Germany's first division.
Newly promoted Eintracht Frankfurt beat Hamburger SV 3-2 on Sunday with Canadian international Olivier Occean scoring his first goal in the German top flight.
The goal came in the 18th minute from a corner, and the ball eventually fell to Occean who banged it home from a few yards out to give the home side a 2-0 lead.
Occean was on the top of the 2.Bundesliga charts last season and helped SpVgg Greuther Fürth get promoted to the top division for the first time in the club's history. Occean made the switch to Frankfurt, also a newly promoted team, in July.
With Sunday’s 3-2 win, the side is off to a perfect start in the Bundesliga with three wins from its first three games.
