Junior Hoilett admits that it will take time for him and his teammates to fully click at new club QPR.
The Canadian joined the Loftus Road outfit from relegated Blackburn this summer but has only managed to make one appearance for Mark Hughes' side so far this campaign.
Hoilett's arrival at QPR was one of 11 new signings by the London club in the summer transfer window.
The winger is aware that he will need to be in top form to compete for a regular place in the Hoops' starting line-up this season but believes that Hughes is the right manager to bring the best out of him.
He told the Daily Mirror: "One of my aims is to get the ball in the back of the net and create chances for others.
"You always need a bit of time to settle in to your new club. It won’t be long before we are all up to speed. Working with a manager like Mark Hughes is great for a young player."
