The Canadian National Team has named 17 players who will take part in two friendlies next week against FYR Macedonia and Poland on November 14th and 18th, respectively.

Interim head coach Stephen Hart has named a squad with much experience on the European continent as 15 of the 17 players play their club football there.

The only two players based in North America are Major League Soccer’s own Julian de Guzman of TFC and DC United’s Dejan Jakovic.

“These two matches provide an excellent opportunity to bring our European based players together,” said Hart in a press release. “Playing quality European opposition at their home fields is a challenge I am sure the players will look forward to."
