VIDEO: Lalas in Training for "Red Bull Shotgun" Special

Goal.com caught up with Alexi Lalas in Los Angeles where the 38-year-old commentator was training to pay of his debt by downing a Red Bull on national television during the MLS Cup Final.

Alexi Lalas is getting ready for quite the challenge. Despite how easy it may seem, guzzling a can of Red Bull on national television can be very treacherous. Mess this up and the ramifications could be devastating.

Now, Lalas must deal with the consequences.

Goal.com caught up with the 38-year-old former US international this week in Los Angeles, where he has been immersed in, um, training for his nationally televised shotgunning event. We received unprecedented behind-the-scenes access.
