Tascone confirmed during the TV program 'Sotto Rete' that Di Natale could be on his way to Naples.

"I received some indiscretions from Milan which indicate Napoli as being close to the purchase of Di Natale," he said.

"It would be a great purchase," he continued. "The club promised four incoming transfers, and I think that they must buy players who can lead the current group in order to go higher.

"(General director) Pierpaolo Marino must be trusted. Blasi's purchase and the re-confirmation of Zalayeta's co-ownership are positive signs which prove that things are being done well.

"I would be happy if a player like Milito would arrive, as he could be useful for Napoli," concluded Tascone.

Di Natale is currently preparing for the European Championships with the Italian national team, as he is considered as an important element in the team by coach Roberto Donadoni.
