The Nigeria Football Federation confirms Super Eagles and El Tri friendly in preparation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup
Nigeria will take on the Mexican national team on March 5 in a preparatory game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The match will be organized in the United States by Soccer United Marketing (SUM), the Mexican Football Federation’s U.S. Representatives, with the co-operation of Eurodata Sport.
El Tri will play the Super Eagles at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta exactly nine months after both countries played out a 2-2 draw at the Reliant Stadium in Houston.
Mexico will battle African opponent Cameroon in Group A of the World Cup that also includes host Brazil and Croatia while Stephen Keshi’s men will battle South American giant Argentina, Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Group F.
